Program Description
Since the school was established in 1799 by Philadelphia Quakers as a coeducational boarding school, Westtown School has been known for its high academic standards and strong sense of community. The Westtown educational experience is based on the Quaker principles of respect for others, personal responsibility, integrity, equality, simplicity, and service. Each student, whether in our Lower, Middle, or Upper school, is encouraged to develop to his or her fullest intellectual, spiritual, emotional, and physical capacity.
