boys village is a residential treatment center located in Smithville, OH. They accept boys ages 12 - 18. Boys' Village was founded in 1946 by a Methodist Minister and a group of influential Ohio businessmen, as a residential Treatment Center for troubled boys who could not remain in their own homes or who were homeless. Today, the college like campus consists of 18 buildings on 186 acres, located near Wooster, Ohio. Boys' Village is an independent non-profit corporation and is non-denominational in orientation and philosophy
