Program Description
Willow Springs Center is a licenced psychiatric hospital and offers treatment for children ages 5-12 and adolescents ages 12-17 with a primary mental health diagnosis. The hospital operates 74 beds, 14 for children and 60 for adolescents. Patients live in a dormitory style setting. Segregated sex and age rooms on the adolescent unit are semi-private and contain private bath facilities. Rooms on the children's unit contain two and three beds and a private bath is located within a few doors of each room. Patients share a large gymnasium, exercise room, outdoor recreational area with ropes course and a large activities therapy room with basketball and volleyball courts.
