| Camp Michawana is a summer youth camp located by Hastings, MI. Camp Michawana is a youth camp, where Christ is first. It is an arm of the local church in which a Bible centered program, in an outdoor setting, is used to develop the camper spiritually, mentally, physically and socially through evangelism and discipleship in accordance with the Word of God. Camp Michawana's facilities also serve local church and community organizations. In this critical age, children need a Biblical basis for understanding our culture, society and events. Michawana is dedicated to presenting Jesus as Savior to children, campers and guests. We use the out of doors, fun and staff-camper relationships to build a trust that impacts the life of the child. We understand that long term changes can only come through God's indwelling Spirit. We believe that the Bible is the resource for life. Therefore we will continue to use a systematic Bible study as the basis for camp programs. | |
