Cheshire,CT Cheshire Academy educates students in grades 6-12 plus postgraduate. Founded in 1794, Cheshire Academy is the oldest independent boarding school in Connecticut. Our staff and faculty take great pride in its long history of education. Through a combination of support, encouragement, and small classes, we are here to help you become aware of your talents and stimulate you to become actively engaged in your personal and educational pursuits. Since 1911, Cheshire Academy Summer Program students have been meeting and living with others from around the world and who bring a different perspective to our school.
