| Colorado Rocky Mountain is a traditional school located at Carbondale, CO. They are a co-ed program and accept ages 14-18. The school is committed to an education in the liberal arts tradition, and students are asked to acquaint themselves with the major intellectual, social, and political elements of the human experience. Small classes and concerned teachers enable students to learn as much and as fast as they can. The small classes encourage a Socratic approach to learning, with give and take between student and teacher.Most teachers live on campus, and all are readily available for students requiring individual attention. Approximately ten hours of study per week are supervised; students study on their own another ten or more hours. | |
