| Cross Bar X Youth Ranch was started in 1977 with the purpose of reaching disadvantaged, low-income, and inner-city youth with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The camp is located on 35 acres in southwest Colorado at the base of the Rocky Mountains. To accommodate campers there are two lodges constructed of hand-hewn ponderosa pines and four summer cabins. It is a place of peace, acceptance, and excitement. There are one and two week camp programs for youth 8 to 18 years of age during the months of June, July, and August. There are many exciting activities to experience, such as swimming in the lake, archery, games, crafts, mountain bikes, basketball, obstacle course, ping pong, foosball, volleyball, backpacking, horseback riding, petting animals, rock climbing, and team building activities. | |
