| Kemmerer Village, IL. Founded in 1914 by Philip B. & Sarah Kemmerer, Kemmerer Village has evolved from an orphanage to one of Illinois' leading childcare agencies. From our inception, the mission of Kemmerer Village has been to provide love, protection, and education to children. We combine the traditional spiritual beliefs of the Presbyterian Church with our highly professional child welfare standards of today to effectively change the lives of children and families. The Board of Directors and staff of Kemmerer Village are committed to the principles of service and professionalism which are required as we strive to enrich the lives of children and families entrusted to our care. Our programs are directed to help children and youth attain the necessary skills to become well-adjusted and productive members of society.
