Peninsula Village, TN, established in 1986, specializes in treating adolescents whose problems have proven resistant to previous treatments. These troubled youth, ages 13 to 18, usually require intensive and, at times, extensive treatment in order to achieve lasting change. Candidates for treatment at Peninsula Village have typically had one or more previous inpatient treatments. Many have also experienced less restrictive interventions such as outpatient therapy, day treatment programs, and/or boarding schools.
