Sunrise Family Services

Sunrise Family Services is a Residential Treatment Center for adolescent females ages 12-17. We specialize in Early Intervention for young women whose emotional, psychological or behavioral issues have resulted in strained relations in the home and/or poor academic performance. We are also very well suited as a Step-Down or Transition from a more acute or specialized treatment program.

Home away from home... We currently operate three treatment homes, all of which are located in residential neighborhoods in the city of Orem, Utah. We limit our residency to five girls per home in order to provide the individualized care these youth deserve.

Our philosophy at Sunrise Family Services, Inc. is one of providing opportunities to succeed. We realize that no organization or program can effectively influence any individual unless that individual desires to change and feels capable of doing so. In order to enhance an individual's desire and capacity to change, Sunrise Family Services, Inc. provides a safe and caring environment, positive role models, and professional guidance and counseling. As youth progress through our program they will come to recognize their true potential and will gradually develop the personal and social skills needed to make positive contributions to family, community, and society as a whole.

Our ultimate goal is to improve society by strengthening families--the families from which these youth have come (to which many of them will return), as well as the families that they someday will raise. We will accomplish this by helping youth to recognize and reach their full potential through spiritual growth, the fostering of traditional family values, professional counseling, opportunities for formal education, and the development of living skills.
