Tamassee DAR School, Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in South Carolina, they provide a residential care program for school-aged children while they attend local public schools. Family interaction is an important program element, and frequent home visitation is required when not prohibited by court order. A day care program for infants through age 12 is available to community residents. The vision of our founders is alive today as we meet the task of preparing today's children for tomorrow's challenges.
